Last day of the holiday weekend. I had a dream, and thought of waking and writing it down, but wasn’t sure I would. It’s easy to decide, oh, this isn’t a dream worth writing down. But I got my coffee and back into bed and I wrote it down, and of course I was glad that I did. Because the dream is there with wisdom and it can only be mined by writing it. Then I went for a long walk with Charlie AND Kuzma, because Lilia had an appointment, and I was glad to have them both as they have become such good friends. Then a half hour swim before meeting up in the woods at the campfire with my son and daughter and Frank and Lilia and Kuzma and Charlie so that we could have a forest bathing session by the fire, facilitated by Landon. And it was very special, the quiet, the exploration of sounds and sights and senses, and the sharing. And the closure with his freshly brewed pine needle infused tea. We were all so glad to we invested the time. I did get some work done today; but no poem. Drat! I made dinner for everyone: homemade chili and also a turkey pot pie and cornbread. Somehow I will find a poem by tomorrow morning. We shall see!
