Clouds and a little fresh wind and the slightly cool air. I took a lovely, long swim early in the day. Decided to go for the mile, and did it. Tonight, took a slightly windy walk across the field after watering the vegetables in the garden. An owl swooped from tree to tree. Saw the yellow flag iris blooming by the river. A lovely flower, I stepped through the mud to get a closer look. Apparently, I learned, it’s considered invasive. Ah. Too bad. Tonight, quite tired, I will sleep early.
