#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Charles River Reflection

Splitting dry kindling
on a damp November day--
wind-chimes tinkling."

~ Michael P. Garofalo, Cuttings

Charlie and me and even though it’s cooler, the sky keeps its clarity and brilliance. I prepare for my Charles River Writers and drive to Medfield where we are meeting in person today. Another day home from school for the special one. The workshop is, as usual, wonderfully rewarding. Then, I rush back to the hotel to take the special one for the afternoon and evening. We spend it very much outdoors. Him in a very long nap; me in a very long walk, both of us in the warmth of an intense sunshine. Just a little coolness in the shade. The progress on the house is encouraging. There may be a return to school soon; if not, being outdoors with him is pretty decent way to spend time.
