Tonight, rain pelting the windows, pleasantly. A day ends, I am saturated. Deep group experiences, morning and night. A walk begins the day. Sky of October, silver blue on the river and gold with reds. The brook filling; the drought passed. In a busy day, I drive to my dear friend’s house. She is leaving on a trip. I must send her off with a hug. This is a necessity we’ve followed for years of each other’s travels. Two hugs and she goes. I am brimming tonight from this day; saturated in a wonderful way because of the groups I get to lead and the people who share their writing and feelings and stories with me.
