#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Morning Brook in Black and White
Awake before the alarm. A bit hyper-alert to start the day, wanting to make sure to walk a bit before my 7:27 a.m. (!) webinar. I only have a half an hour, in the fresh and blooming morning. It’s calm and dewy and bright and all the ferns are popping up and populating. I’m really enjoying teaching my photo-inspired poetry webinars for Mass. Poetry students. Today, again in Falmouth, at the high school, and then one at Dana Hall School. Very very attentive students; quite a treat for me. Doors of the house open all day; both my daughters here and there. I have the chance to work on revising a poem for a poetry share with friends in the late afternoon. I’m pleased to find it working well, and it’s well received. I will tweak it a bit and bring it to Thursday morning workshop for one last look-over. And I prepped for the Farm Pond Writers tomorrow - in person! Admittedly, I am tired tonight. I checked on my milkweed plants in my garden; two of them fine and growing for the monarchs––and me.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
