Through the meadow in December

Excited for a long ramble, time all to myself in the meadow. I wandered a long time taking many pictures and I was very happy and content. After an hour or so I ran. My hands were very cold, but I didn’t mind; Today, I needed a lot of discipline to be at peace with a point of tension in the household. Another thing that made me very happy was preparing for the Charles River Writing Collective Open readings, our annual December celebration with friends and family, which I had to change to online, after hoping we would be in person. It was lovely, of course, after all, a special, meaningful gathering. The writing shared was beautifully expressed and powerful. A lovely, warm gathering with our guests. I felt so uplifted and hopeful. We created this together. I got to walk my favorite meadow today and take all the time there that I wanted and the meadow is still feeding me tonight.
