#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
A meadow slideshow from this morning, simply because it was spectacular with June blooms and lots of sun. We went early into this day of big shifts at home. Departures. One for a week. One for seven. The house grows quieter. The birds come to the feeder on the deck, and the squirrels. Charlie is not quieter. My hope and wish and plan is to be lively and alert and energetic as these wildflowers and weeds. And, I am. I continue with my submissions today. But what I aim to do is to return to my egg essay. And I have passed the day to plenty, but not that. Hmmm. This is a slow warm up. And why? All I have to do is place the cursor over the file and press open. Okay, so. I'm resisting. I'm getting ready, but am I procrastinating? Or can I just trust that the gears are turning, my psyche is preparing to be immersed, once again, in this process. As I write this tonight, here's what I know: in the morning, before, or after my walk, I will open the file of the essay of eggs and see what happens when I do.
