#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Because the gypsy moths are decimating the trees - even the evergreens - and plants in the forest and meadow, I have too walk a long way today to find fern in the marsh, the wild rose blooming against the trunk of a tree. Moth eaten bright green leaves litter the trail. The milkweed is being destroyed by the countless murderous pests.
Passing the brook at the end of my walk, I don't se the beaver, but I do see what he/she has been up to. It's late, way past my bedtime now, my eyes are closing as a write. Goodnight.
