#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Remember, this is how you gain perspective: Change your point of view. There is a bridge, you can cross. It's a little risky. Three or four of the wooden railroad ties are rotten. Enough of them are not. This tie holds the shape of heart - take it as a sign of encouragement.
Stumble down a steep little embankment. Look, across the water, in a sunshine spot above your view, the low growing juniper bush where you stood before crossing has vanished from your sightline.
Brambles prick at your legs. Under a leafless tree, stand. It's roots run to the riverbed. Listen: Here is the same body of water rippling by your feet.
