#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
In the beauty of this river and these Charles River woods, how could I not be happy to be home, in any weather?
In summer yesterday, barefoot on the beach, yet I'm walking through mud and melting snow in a light rain in a warm coat this morning. I'm happy – it's wet – because winter- dulled colors are richer and brighter in rain.
Still more winter than spring I am grateful for seasons, cycles, change. I am changing. The people I love are changing. Not just changing, but growing, growing. My children, young adults, grow in ways that inspire me to keep growing and changing. How grateful I am to be welcomed home. Spring is here in my spirit, if not yet in the landscape around me.
