January cold all day and tonight. No cats needed to. come inside though. Fudgy stays warm in his trailer/coop with his warming light. I greet him this morning with a banana. Frank discovered how much Fudgy loves a banana. My daughter makes Wave’s breakfast this morning, and I make his lunch and he is out the door A+. I have a short walk in the wetlands and there is ice but I am not inspired by a picture. This morning was all discipline more than desire: to go out and walk and then swim. Tonight I started my Putting Our Grandmothers on the Page workshop for IWWG––I love teaching this workshop. I could teach it every day. The material from participants is so incredibly rich and moving. I’m not in the least bit tired tonight. Teaching gives me energy. Like everyone, though, I am deeply concerned for everyone in Los Angeles and the catastrophic fires. Praying for the Santa Ana winds to die down and the rain to come down on the land.
