EMILY: "Does anyone ever realize life while they live it...every, every minute?"
STAGE MANAGER: "No. Saints and poets maybe...they do some.”
~ Thornton Wilder, Our Town
Yes, well, the day, a spectacular one, full of surprise, lots of drama, lots of excitement, hard work, focus, very little food, except cabbage, a beauty, before breakfast, and plenty of sun, from a sunflower, this picture, shining on the fullest of full days, from morning until night, until now, when I am bleary eyed, and satisfied. Success. Many successes. Writers, actors, stage managers, audience, all of it. Too much for words at this late hour. Nine plays on their feet to a full house of applause. So much more to this day that cannot now be described. My heart is full, my head is tired, and I’m grateful, and ready for sleep.
