#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

A renewed stretch of summer. Sun and warmth, cool morning with a heating. Even in a busy day a chance to go to the beach for an afternoon break. Ride my bike. Meet Wave and his mother and my other daughter. Lots of us there, the swimmers who do not want to let the summer go without more time in the water, and why not? Wave goes in, I go in. It’s cooler, but we don’t mind. He is holding onto his swimming skills. I swam my laps in the morning, so all I do is play, run with him in the sand, let him ride my back in the water. I made pizzas. And my three groups today, all exceptional experiences of writing and sharing. Windows open tonight. A sense of peace and quiet, warmth and serenity flowing toward me from the earth and all the beings in the yard and woods who are resting or pursuing their evening chores. My chores are done for the day.
