#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Today, a day full of housework and yard work and more. Frank called on the way home from his meeting and asked if I could go through the clothes on the racks in the basement from the fire. Yes, our closet. All the clothes I had in my closet and have not yet gone through. I balked. Had yard work and planting planned. But then relented, surprised him. Finished by the time he came home himself to work on the garage and basement, with help. It wasn’t that hard, and I was glad to have it done. And Frank too. Hours in the yard, raking, pulling poison ivy, trimming. I have not yet had any bad poison ivy outcome; being very very careful. I sent some poems out today; I also am working on uploading the tons of pictures my aunt put in albums, for a slide show for my uncle’s Celebration of Life on Tuesday. Found this one of me and a high school boyfriend. I’m on the left––yes, long hair was in, and he wore his to his shoulders. Oh gosh. 1974. That is fifty years ago. Fifty years!
