#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Hmmmm. My image, Brush Stroke, pictured above, was published today in a journal and they turned it around without asking my permission. I submitted it vertical and they turned it horizontal. Oh well. I don’t really like it the way they printed it. This has never happened to me before. I will write them tomorrow. I went out to go to the garden and on my walk this morning, but Frank’s guests, for his kayak and lunch party, were arriving. So I made coffee for them and helped him set up a bit and then let go of my walk in order to spend time on my weeding and trimming and clearing the gardens. My sister arrived at noon to go through my aunt’s amazing photo albums to upload pictures for his serve. We ran out of time! Somehow it will get done. I had late afternoon ice tea with my dear friend and that was a treat. A busy day. I did all Frank’s dishes, and was glad to help, as he always helps clean up at parties. He took a well deserved nap. After watering my garden tonight, I ran into three bunnies attacking my potted pansies. Argh! They didn’t even seem frightened by me! Tonight my son sent us all a text at dark — coyotes in the yard, keep Brittany indoors. And we did. But Wave and his mother and I went out for walk anyway, with our lights. And there were lightning bugs. And a starless sky.
