Frank uncomfortable with abdominal pain all night. We went to the ER in Needham first thing, and he’s fine. CT scan ruled out all the scary things; we left pretty quickly, no stress. Probably muscular, strained something working too hard on Sunday, maybe. Whew. A hectic day. I figured he was okay, without a fever or anything. But so proud of him for going to the ER! Frank, in earlier years, often went a long time with broken wrist or ankle rather than have to wait in the ER. I worked on the service while we. were there, and all day on and off, so many details, chatting and working with my brother and sister, and FRANCI! Oh, the slideshow. I watched it when it was complete and cried and cried. It’s perfect. Did the program, wrote my own piece. Of course, all got done. Plus a bit of planting and raking and watering tonight with Frank and Wave. And I made it to poetry workshop this morning, somehow, and a poem I’ve revised for ages was very successful. I did it. And I’m really grateful. Tomorrow, early rising. Wave so cheerful and happy tonight at dinner and in the yard. I can count on him going out with me anytime. It won’t always be like this. I am seizing the day with his love of being with me and the plants.
