#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Such a heavy rain. The doors and windows in the bedroom wide open. I poke Frank to close them in the early morning. I’m happy with the rain, but I have to go out in it and get uncomfortably wet dropping Wave at school and getting to a medical appointment. My two dear friends with birthdays today––I reach out to them both with birthday wishes. Wave has his first swimming lesson after the clearing of the afternoon, but it’s quite cool and windy and still damp. Yikes! My two daughters and I sit under dry towels to keep warm as we watch his first lesson that goes very well. It’s so good to have a teacher. Tonight I have a cracking good headache and need to rest my eyes. The magnolia shrub in the garden by the roses and the grapevine caught my nose. In bloom, big white wet blossoms. And the roses of almost June.
