Not surprisingly I am falling asleep as I attempt to blog this day. Day that started with Frank and chatting, and then to the woods, to the river, a sunny morning, and the pool for my laps. Sun pouring into the pool area. Bright mood. Said goodbye to my Ukrainian friend by taking her to the airport. Then, Wave to Farm Pond with my daughter, his friends who arrived. Frank and I prepped dinner mid-day so that I could come home from the beach and not stress. So gorgeously blue, the water. Tonight, my Tuesday night writers, terrific session. And yet, the spoiler of my day, that darned ground hog eating the tops off my milkweed plants! My baby milkweed plants that are proliferating and sprawling, and I’ve been so happy to see how they spread. I will try and transplant some of them inside the garden which is gated. Argh!
