#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
The absolute best thing I did today was to get into the pool and swim my laps. Oh, I felt wonderful! Even though I woke up initially feeling as if I’d been run over by two trucks. Coffee helped. A quiet house helped. The sun on the snow and the bright day helped. I felt so good while swimming and after. I had some buffers today. The quiet. The time to not rush. The quiet of the house. I finished some clean up in a relaxed way. I prepped for Christmas in a more relaxed way. I made decisions about food and gifts. Another wonderful thing I did today was to go to my poetry peers online tonight and workshop poems with my friends. That was wonderful! Another wonderful thing was getting to send an email to my mailing lists about my Aim for Astonishing free write on Jan. 7. And I have had lovely texts from family about enjoying the party and expressing gratitude. Wave home in the morning tomorrow for Christmas. We have a fun craft planned. Planned with flexibility and room for adjustment. I am also grateful for my cheerful geraniums in bloom while the snow is on the ground.
