#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
The most valuable thing we can do for the psyche, occasionally, is to let it rest, wander, live in the changing light of room, not try to be or do anything whatever.
― May Sarton
I woke to the skyline out the window; the ocean and the art deco buildings. We are on the sixth floor. Frank went to an early meeting and when he came back we got coffee and walked the beach in a bit of wind, and warmth, also. Today was about naps. Walking and naps. Time to sit quietly with Frank and to find some laughter in casual conversation. He played tennis, and I rested. I felt blessed and restored today by rest. There is storm at home, and I am not in it.
