News of snowstorm possibly this weekend. Tonight the report says possibly up to a foot here this weekend. My son is concerned about the tent. He had his first client session in the tent tonight with a fire. I think the tent will be okay, but once again, reaching it may be difficult. I forgot to ask for a new set of snowshoes for Christmas! I wore my old ones to shreds. Still have my skis, though. Today another problem with the furnace, so after swimming, and after my walk in the cold woods, I came home to a cold shower. Yikes. Winter is very much in this house. The furnace is now fixed and all is well. I did not cook dinner tonight and had leftovers myself. Frank away, and my friend left today. No creative work done today, I’m afraid; admin, like getting my car fixed and going through paperwork and trying to stay out of the January Blues. Trying to focus on gratitude for all the good things that are working well. In the wetlands, looking at ice, being mindful at the brook, even when my feet get wet, I am always happy and at peace.
