#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Well, really, what cold! A rough night of sleep, and still, I am grateful to feel well enough for my morning swim, even though I am late to my res and I have to stop swimming eight minutes before I’m done with my laps. My bad. Last night we took Franci and Will out to dinner and we had such a great night; but I ate pico de gallo––and I’m allergic to all kinds of peppers. Only probably less than a tablespoonful and I was really ill all night. Frank was sweet. And I was okay by morning. Yay! So relieved. Frank bought me some high rubber boots for walking the wetlands, and I wore them today, with Charlie, and the water was icy and just too deep for me to wade through. I was afraid of slipping and falling. Sweet to see Mr. Mallard enjoying the flooding of the wetlands and paddling through. I couldn’t get tot he tent and I am afraid it might be wet. It’s likely to warm up a bit tomorrow, as we’re projected to get snow. Two poetry workshops today. And a nice dinner, jointly made by me and Frank. And Wave home, sweetly, and we play. We play.
