#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
The river was deep green in the fog. Another wet day? It’s not raining yet. And there’s a dash of sun. It’s so warm. I want to be in the pond. I drive there, as I have to be back home for my workshop. And there are one or two other swimmers. The fog over the pond has lifted. It’s wide open and inviting. Still warm as the middle of summer. I have a wonderful swim. The water feel soft today, and I feel centered and present and full of peace. This swim is exactly what I need. Now I know the day will be wonderful. And it is. Morning writers, resuming our workshop after summer break. Then, started a new Play Lab online in the afternoon. Plenty of energy, and so happy to be making these connections with writers. Dinner! I make meatballs and spaghetti––my friend comes to dinner and we have a lovely time around the table. All day, the pond reminds me.,
