#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Home, but not before the day turned into tomorrow. It’s after midnight, and the windows are open to the cool damp air. Frank already asleep. So nice to be home. Cars not unpacked, but all home and happy after a last lovely day in Edgartown, ending with a totally sweet and heartwarming dinner at my brother and sister-in-law’s house in Oaks Bluff, my other sister and her husband there, dear nieces and nephews, and all of us. The perfect ending to a lovely trip. I will miss my morning walk in sunflowers, the farm, the open skies, the fields of monarchs and lace. And I will see my own garden in the morning. And we will all wake happy to be home.
