#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Woke up so happy, even in rain. The joy of the morning after. successful event. Frank left early, and I said goodbye to him at 5 or so. My friend Liz and I had a plan to meet and walk and take a cold dip. We kept our plan early in the wetness. A wonderful walk down our memory lane: Rocky Narrows woods. All the pleasure of being in the moment, now, in the moss and the wetlands with birdsong and trees flowering, along the Charles River. And she let me talk us into a dip! At Farm Pond, the beach was empty, the sky was quite gray, and the water was mean cold, but absolutely stimulating! We each dove in twice! It was bracing and fun. And then we had to say goodbye. Until next time. And with Frank gone, the house was mine to clean up, and I did, throughout the day, get everything put away. Order restored. Play Lab tonight, and our final lab before our showcase a week from tonight. The plays are in good shape to present. It was very moving, as always, to hear the writers in this intimate group. Raw and dynamic. Powerful topics. I’m really looking foward to the showcase. It’s pouring now, and dark outside. A pleasant heavy rainfall, a quieting and peaceful and restorative music to sleep by after a busy and happy weekend.
