#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
I have crackle-head. Condition of many hours on zoom today. So, it’s lovely and peaceful to connect this evening with the natural beauty I encountered on my walk this morning. The brook was so alive; the mallards shot up into the sky. The wild turkeys lumbered along the trail into flight. A lone swan swam in the gentle current. I breathed deeply in the fresh air, there was a light breeze blowing over m and everything was damp from yesterday’s rain and the sky was blue and the maples were red in bud. I knew I had a busy day ahead of groups and meetings indoors. And so I let myself be very aware of my time in the wetlands, the meadow, the woods. Be here now, my senses said. And I was. And I looked deeply into the intricacy and vitality all around me, with appreciation.
