#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Afternoon river rain

Frank and I both awake before 6:00 a.m.––back to normal. What a pleasure to wake feeling strong and pain free. I go for my swim, again, a great one, feeling back to normal, lots of good energy. I have to run an errand, so Charlie has to wait for his walk. He waits until late afternoon, after I finish leading a writing webinar on Zoom. It’s a great webinar; so juicy. Wonderful shared writing from photos. My writing prompts worked splendidly. I walk with gratitude and inspiration. Lightly raining, river swirls. The peepers in the wetlands. Damp and warm, brown and tired landscape. Still, few signs of spring. My video is done! I love it, and I’m really happy with it, and eager to share it. Soon enough. I did share it tonight over zoom with my publisher and a close poetry friend and they loved it, and I was so grateful for this time to show it to them, privately, quietly, before I share it widely, as they have both been instrumental in the process of writing the book.
