#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Well, a rare day. No walk. So I had to resort to taking a bad picture from my bedroom overlooking the yard to have something to post here. I woke at 6 and was out of the house by 7 to drive to Easthampton, MA through the rain. A little under two hours. Left Charlie to be walked by others in the household. Met the new home health aid who is going to care for my elderly aunt and uncle, and I was there to introduce her. We had a very nice morning setting things up and I left feeling that my trip was entirely worth it. It stopped raining by the time I left, and drove past Mt. Tom. Easthampton is surrounded by purple hills and they were lovely in the fog. Home to my friend and then my other dear friend, and we had tea by the fire and a lovely, relaxing chat. There is a pleasant feeling of holiday relaxation in the house. Frank working less, and me too. We played pickle tonight with friends, and home to “yoga” with Wave. Had a great long talk with my Ukrainian friend in DC catching up with her, some laughs. A lovely day of helping my aunt and uncle and special time with friends, even though no swim or walk. I will see tomorrow how the wetlands fared in this rain today and whether they filled back up again. I wonder how the tent is, and will check on it tomorrow.
