#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Rain drops splattered the window this morning, but the sun was out early and bright, cheerful and welcoming sky. No trouble to get up, I was glad to be back to a work day. And before sleeping I revised a poem for workshop this morning, which surprised me. And one or two tweaks this morning, and a great response in my workshop. I swam a great, energetic swim, my mile, and walked Charlie a short way before workshop. And I had a client, and I took care of a lot of admin, and I had a chance to touch base with both my daughters. And cheerfully made dinner and we all lingered at the table, Lilia still here until tomorrow, and Kuzma, and all of us relaxed, stayed at the table, and enjoyed the company. I will be sad to see them go; oh, Charlie definitely will be sorry to say goodbye to his playmate and to Lilia who gives him so much kind attention. A favorite moment in the day: Wave, at the table, eating his dipping egg that I made, and more than once saying, in gratitude––as if he had been without my eggs for months instead of one weekend: “It’s delicious.”
