#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Even though it was a cloud-covered ceiling over this day, my mood was the flavor of this autumn leaf I found on my morning walk. Bright and light-filled, colorful and warm. It was a busy day. But Charlie and I had our peace in the woods. Wet woods, leaves full of tiny puddles of last night’s rain. It feels like the earth around here is getting the replenishment it needs. Two groups today, morning and night. Deep dives. And, in between, time to get up and stretch from my desk in the afternoon. I thought, take a nap? Yes! Take a bike ride? Yes. The ride was the right answer. And my daughter joined me, extra right. And Charlie was mad, he wanted to come. But we left him and rode into Medfield Center and I wore an empty back pack and we went to the grocery store and I filled my pack. Such a fun and necessary break in the fresh air and the fall coming on, and it was cool. It was a non-summer temperature, and the leaves are changing. And the house is changing. And I am changing. May I always be changing and may this always be a blessing.
