#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Morning, Charles River

More rain in the night which is welcome. Green and moist morning at the river. A deer bounding out of sight at the waterless brook. Today, I ran, well, jogged, through the woods with Charlie for four miles. I want to see if I’m going to do the sprint triathlon. A decent enough (slow) run. Now, let me see if I can do the bike ride. Maybe tomorrow. I had a writing morning. A new poem for poetry workshop tonight. Wrote a bunch of notes from an idea and then, where to begin? I didn’t know. But, from somewhere it came. Great feedback from my group tonight. Also, weeding. A little bit of weeding whenever I can. I feel the hopeful freshness and regeneration of the rain. More tomorrow, perhaps. And thunder. During my poetry workshop tonight I opened the window for some fresh air. Crickets. And the light of the harvest moon.
