A walk with birdsong, alone, into May. Looking for pictures I wanted to capture. They found me. Maple wing season, one of so many of my favorites. Tree bark as puzzle of figures. Trees take their time, they take so long to come apart and be entirely gone. I listened to a podcast that puts me in a contemplative mood and nourishes my spirit: Abbey of the Arts, especially with the music. I have embedded, above, this Rumi poem set to music from the podcast. Because it played while I walked taking pictures: “Let the beauty you love, be what you do.” And, so I did.
