But for decades, their population has been declining. And now, the monarchs are endangered.

WBUR “On Point” rebroadcast today How to save the endangered monarch butterfly

Wide open morning for wandering, me and Charlie. Warmer. Very little ice. We stop at the brook. We crunch through leaves. We are happy and relaxed. Thanksgiving came, and stayed. I work on a revision for the Monday night workshop. I’m not happy with it. I start another and find some promise in it. I drive to some errands, and listen to WBUR podcast, a rebroadcast––and I’m so glad to find it, as I missed it when it originally aired. All about my beloved monarch and milkweed. I feel so glad to have more and more growing on my property. The special one and I scattered so many seeds this fall. You have to scatter a lot to ensure some will take root. We’re using all the rooms and comfortable in all of them.
