Autumn River

We have much to do to move back into our bedroom, so instead of a morning walk, Frank and I are out shopping. It’s mid-afternoon before I get out into the woods with Charlie for a good, long, walk. The trees along the river starting to turn. Many walkers with dogs out for a hike. It’s fall-cool. Very cool mornings. I am definitely missing the summer weather and the feeling that I want to swim because the air is so warm and hot and pleasing, making the water so inviting. Today, I had zero computer time. We had a new couch delivered to the bedroom. We have new bedding, new bed, new bedroom! And tonight, here we are. Eight months after the Christmas Eve fire, back in our bedroom. I feel so much for the displaced Floridians and their damaged and lost homes. it takes so much to rebuild. My youngest and her boyfriend comes into the room tonight, approves of our purchases, and share many ideas. Our bedroom has always been a center of our home, with lots of activity and visitors and borrowers and tv watchers. Tomorrow morning the Special One will pass the door to the room where he has woken us up for months and find that we are not there! Something tells me it will not take long for him to find us back where we belong.
