I walked early on the beach before my Farm Pond Writer’s Webinar and found a battered sand dollar face washed upon a bed of seashells that seemed like the model for Edvard Munch’s “The Scream.”I kept walking and found another, freshly washed ashore, and one that seemed to be much more in tune with my peaceful and cheerful walk. The webinar ran so well; the prompts and lesson I prepared on writing prose poems and post card poems worked so well: the early drafts generated were very strong and I was so pleased to be with familiar faces from my hometown life, keeping our connection and creative time thriving across this distance. I learned a fascinating secret about the sand dollar today:
