#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Dressed lightly, opened the front door, cold wind blew at me. Added a layer before we went out in the fresh morning. And then I was grateful for my cheeks blown red, it woke me up in a pleasant way. We stopped at one of the landings on the Charles at Rocky Narrows, the wind blowing the light rippling the river into sparkling. We kept walking and I played some music, Sam Baker, a song from his album, "Pretty World," called "Orphan," and I felt a bubbling up in me, delight, rising, rippling like those sparks of sun on the Charles - I felt like moving like the word, what it means: effervesce.
And, all day, I kept remembering a glistening feeling, and I kept moving that way, as much as I could. And here's the song that sounded like the rippling we felt today, the river and me.
