#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
First fiddleheads! Earlier than usual I slipped into the woods for a shorter walk before a busy day. It was just after sunrise in wet woods, and a busy day ahead. I wanted to be entirely alone in the woods to breathe, breathe in fresh energy. Today I produced a writing conference for over 50 women, and I needed the kind of centering of my spirit that the woods offers. And the fiddleheads and the bark and the blue clouds over the river helped me feel calm, focused, enthusiastic about greeting writers with the passion and interest I feel toward them every day. Tonight I am so bleary eyed with happy exhaustion over a successful day, I am closing my eyes as I type!
