#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream
Oh, after a poor night of sleep it's out into the messy morning, an in between day, not enough snow for skiing, I don't need my snow shoes, I put on hiking boots and walk through the crusts and slush of soft melting over ice. In the swamp there are cattails coming apart and I find this poem, tonight, about cattails, it's lovely, a piece of it here: "Cattail History," by Noah Warren:
Now it's dark and bedtime and the rain is pouring and in the morning, might be snow.
