#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

After days of clouds, rain, river-swell

and cold soaked feet

a hearty blue and wholesome force

sweeps new sky over un-mowed meadow

Earth dries. Grass dries. Soles dry.

White campion blooms and tilts

in the loosening breeze.

White Campion in the Breezy Meadow

Vines wild and lush

climb over the rain-crazed brook.

You hear the bees, you smell the roses

before you know – it's June
