Waking without taking a long, exhausting walk on the beach is a challenge. For the past two days I've walked this beach for miles, uninterrupted, north and south.The solid stretch of sand, the colorful dawn sky call to me - but, this is a teaching day and I must prepare and depart. I am grateful for these two these two passions, even on a morning when I must choose - when I cannot make time for both.
