My walk was shorter, so much shorter than usual, but even so, my spirit is elevated in this landscape every time I look out the window or step out the door and feel the breeze and the view rush over me. I am in a state of exhaustion, pleasant saturation, and I must sleep. Last night I dreamed I lost Suzi & Charlie and so I woke up looking for them, longing to find them, terrified of loss. Soon they will greet me and I will know how much they have missed me too. Perhaps they are a little anxious that they've lost me. I long for a hug from both of them. Soon. I must rest from this peak experience: poetry, friendship, serious work and delightful play.
