#NewThisDay Writing From My Photo Stream

Un-mowed Meadow Morning

From the library as a girl I borrowed a book, The Lonely Doll. She lived with stuffed bears in mansion and one day The Lonely Doll and the little bear discovered a secret room of the house they hadn't known existed and the book, by a photographer, Dare Wright, showed the story in pictures and words of how they explored the magnificent room together before being caught and punished by Mr. Bear.

For my walk this morning I drove nearby and parked where I often do, on the old hospital grounds that are open to the public and cover acres and acres of meadow, woods, fields, the Charles River, and streams. Every day there is more to discover. A meadow, un-mowed, in late summer - what season is this? Here are wildflowers blooming freshly as June. I imagine the secret of this meadow is everlastingly #NewThisDay.
